The La Trobe University Student Union (LTSU) and the University aim to provide an all-inclusive assistance package for students in need. You can be provided with emergency housing, referral services, clothing and food.

Students wishing to apply for Emergency Accommodation must be referred by a staff member of the Student Union or other relevant University department. The staff member will contact Accommodation Services (c/Manager, Accommodation Services) and assist the student in completing an Emergency Accommodation Application Form. This form will be submitted to the Accommodation Services Office in person or via email.
Applications will be considered as soon as possible after they have been received, and the student and staff member responsible will be contacted as soon as a decision is reached.
Other forms of accommodation options or referral options are available and can be accessed through approaching the Student Union or Accommodation Services external database. The Food Bank and Clothes Bank are always available to students in need and are run by the Student Union.
