La Trobe Bundoora Campsu + Darebin Parklands



La Trobe Student Theatre and Film present their largest on-campus arts festival at La Trobe Bundoora, which this year also includes a site-specific show at Darebin Parklands. The Moat Festival runs for 20 days, showcasing some fantastic acting, directing and writing talent. It features 7 full length theatre productions with a mixture of classic, contemporary and student written plays:

  • The Flu Season by Will Eno
  • The Company of Wolves by Angela Carter
  • A Tribute of Sorts by Benjamin Schostakowski
  • Constellations by Nick Payne
  • Some Kind of Love by Helen Krionas
  • Exit The King by Eugene Ionesco
  • The Seagull by Anton Chekhov

It also includes an outdoor film screening of short student films; Movies in The Moat. As well as a big end of season variety show performed by students, alumni and special guests featuring sketch, music, stand-up, drag and more!

Season passes can be purchased at the Student Theatre and Film Office - Level 3 Union Building, La Trobe University Bundoora or at the door of each performance.


To reserve your seats call our office on (03) 9479 1198. La Trobe Student Theatre and Film takes seat reservations, then payment is made at the door on the night of the performance.
