Melbourne Motor Show – Discounted Student Ticket Offer
1. Event
This ticket offer is administered by La Trobe Student Union (LTSU) for the Melbourne Motor Show, an external event operated by the event organisers.
2. Event Details
The Melbourne Motor Show will take place on the date and time specified on the ticket issued to participants.
Ticket holders are responsible for attending the event at the correct date and time as listed on their ticket.
3. Location
The event will be held at:
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC)
1 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf, VIC 3006
4. Ticket Redemption and Entry
Tickets issued by LTSU must be presented at the event for entry. Entry is subject to the conditions of entry set by the Melbourne Motor Show organisers.
Participants must bring their valid La Trobe University Student ID and present it alongside their ticket upon request.
Failure to provide valid identification may result in refusal of entry.
5. Eligibility
This ticket offer is available exclusively to:
- Currently enrolled La Trobe University students
- Current LTSU Members
Participants may be required to provide proof of eligibility at the time of purchase and/or entry.
6. Ticket Conditions
- Tickets provided through LTSU are concession/student tickets.
- Maximum of one (1) discounted ticket per eligible student.
- Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged.
- Tickets must be used by the person named or linked to the original purchase.
Any attempt to sell, transfer, or misuse tickets may result in cancellation without refund.
7. Purpose of Sale
Tickets have been purchased by LTSU and offered at a subsidised rate as part of LTSU’s commitment to supporting student engagement and access to major cultural and entertainment events.
8. Event Responsibility
The Melbourne Motor Show is not an event organised, hosted, or operated by LTSU.
LTSU does not control event programming, scheduling, access, or venue conditions.
Participants must comply with all rules, policies, and directions issued by the event organisers and venue staff.
9. Liability Disclaimer
Attendance at the event is at the participant’s own risk.
To the extent permitted by law, LTSU accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, or incident that may occur before, during, or after the event.
LTSU is not responsible if entry is refused due to failure to comply with the event organiser’s conditions of entry.
10. Event Changes or Cancellation
If the Melbourne Motor Show is cancelled, rescheduled, or otherwise altered, participants should refer directly to the event organiser for updates and support.
LTSU is not liable for compensation, refunds, or damages resulting from changes outside of its control.
11. General Administration
LTSU reserves the right to:
- Verify participant eligibility
- Refuse or cancel tickets where these Terms & Conditions are breached
- Amend or withdraw the ticket offer if required due to unforeseen circumstances
All decisions made by LTSU regarding eligibility and ticket allocation are final.
