Member Acknowledgement
If purchasing member-priced tickets, I acknowledge that I am a current member of the La Trobe Student Union (LTSU) at the time of purchase. I understand that if I am not a member, my booking will be invalid.
Refund Policy
I understand that a full refund is available until 11:59 PM on Friday 31 July 2026, provided La Trobe Student Union receives the request in writing at hello@latrobesu.org.au before this deadline.
No refunds will be issued after this date, except in exceptional circumstances as determined by LTSU. If I am unable to attend after the refund deadline, it is my responsibility to arrange a transfer of my ticket to another currently enrolled La Trobe University student and notify LTSU of the transfer.
Departure Time
I understand that the bus will depart at 7:15 AM SHARP on Friday 7 August 2026 from La Trobe University Bundoora, Car Park 6. Missing the scheduled departure time will not entitle me to a refund.
Eligibility
This trip is open only to currently enrolled La Trobe University students. Student status will be checked at purchase, and participants may be required to present a valid student ID.
Ticket Transfer
Tickets are non-refundable after the refund deadline but may be transferred to another currently enrolled La Trobe University student. It is the ticket holder's responsibility to arrange the transfer and notify LTSU a minimum of 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. If LTSU is not notified in time, then the transferred attendee may be refused access to the trip.
Return Time
The bus will depart Lake Mountain at 4:30 PM, with an expected return to La Trobe University later that evening around 7PM. Return times may vary due to traffic, weather conditions, road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. LTSU is not responsible for missed appointments, classes, work shifts, or other obligations resulting from delays.
Behaviour
Students must respectfully follow all instructions from Student Union staff, transport providers, and Lake Mountain staff. Anyone acting inappropriately or engaging in unsafe behaviour may be removed from the trip without a refund.

I understand that ski equipment hire is not included in the ticket price.
Skis, boots and poles can be hired for $35, payable separately.
Any additional activities, equipment hire, food, beverages, or personal purchases are at the participant's own expense.
Health & Safety
I will inform La Trobe Student Union in advance of any medical, dietary, or accessibility requirements. I acknowledge that any activities carry inherent risks and agree to take reasonable care of my own safety and follow all instructions provided by venue staff.
Weather
This trip will proceed in most weather conditions. Participants are responsible for bringing suitable warm and waterproof clothing, including appropriate footwear and snow gear.
Photography
Photographs and videos may be taken during the trip for LTSU promotional purposes. Participants who do not wish to be photographed should notify LTSU staff on the day.
General
LTSU reserves the right to amend, postpone, or cancel the trip due to safety concerns, severe weather, low registrations, or circumstances beyond its control. In the event of cancellation by LTSU, participants will be offered a refund or an alternative arrangement where appropriate.
